Give your video production a name to avoid confusion later

It might sound really basic, but if you give your video a name now, it’ll help you big time later.

Name your video production

I’m often asked how to best do this. Believe it or not, it’s actually something that is very easy to overlook.

Starting your video production without giving it an actual name can make your life a bit painful not too far down the track. But, if you give it a name, you will stay on track.

Here’s an example

If your video is about introducing your CEO, call it: “New CEO Video” and that’s everything your video should be about.

The benefits

  1. Giving your video a name will also help to leave out things that don’t need to be in the video. Those things tend to find their way in very easily by the way as you’ve probably already experienced.
  2. It’ll also help differentiate this video from other videos, which is really important for not only content as you want your video to be short, but also file management especially if there’s a few videos floating around.

What now?

Take 15 seconds to give your video a name and get your video project off to a great start.
